Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role involves providing personal care, companionship, and support with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help clients with mobility, such as walking, transferring, and using assistive devices.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for any adverse reactions.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in condition to the supervisor or healthcare provider.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the client.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed.

Qualifications:

• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, problem-solving abilities, basic first aid and CPR certification (preferred).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a caregiver training program is a plus.
• Attributes: Reliable, trustworthy, compassionate, observant, adaptable, and able to work independently.
